Ecstasy

 Does money truly bring happiness to people? I have often come across people claiming how money can buy anything and everything even happiness but I don't think people really try to understand the depth behind this absurdity. 

Let us take a situation for example. Last month it was my sister's birthday and I surprised her by visiting at her hostel with a cake. What truly made her happy was the fact that I took the time and effort to actually travel to her place for the very first time all by myself more than the cake or the gift that I gave her.Honestly I didn't know how to travel in bus to a completely unknown place until for last month and I did it all for her. 

What gives one happiness is the feeling or the love that is felt .Money can be a mediator but never the ultimate source of happiness isn't it? Happiness is a feeling and there is no price for it. It is abstract , something that's meant for the soul and it would be a shame to limit it to materialism.Let us no more claim that money brings us happiness but accept the fact that we all crumble under the clutches of love and the simplest efforts of people.

Familiarity from the Unknown

 A day where I witnessed so many good souls.To begin with am not a very optimistic person.I often tend to stick with that one belief that people in general are bad and do not truly deserve our trust.But there was this day that broke all of that. It was few weeks back when I went to meet my sister and unfortunately I knew nothing about her place even which bus to board on.So right at the bus stand there was this young girl who helped me figure out which bus was it and helped me board into it.I couldn't even say thanks to her due to all the rush and chaos but was only able to wave her with gratefulness. Clueless me didn't even know when the place where I have to get down would arrive. Seeing my state there was this old lady that was near me who reassured me saying "Dont be scared ma it's the last stop,you can get down when everybody does" and that really helped me relax.  Have you ever come across narrow path ways that eventually lead to the same place.The colony I am in has various routes running from all sides of it but no matter which street you take, you will eventually find yourself in the main road. That pretty much sums up what life is.There are these narrow numerous pathways protruding out for you.But what matters is which pathway you choose. Certain routes may take you long enough to reach the main destination while few other paths will make you reach there quickly. Few routes may have rough and curvy roads while the others may have smooth straight roads. Few paths would have traffic that tackles your way while the others will give you a smooth ride. The choices you make matters.And it's you who get to choose your own way. But no matter what you choose you will reach somewhere safely, either with lessons or with experience.The consequences depend on the choices you make but either way remember you would win however.
