Comfort or Corrupting?

The other day my grandpa and I were spending time looking in the dictionary for the meaning of various words. He taught how to search for words in dictionary,learn to pronounce them and so on. And until then I didn't realise that looking into a dictionary would be that interesting and cool. 

But now are people even using dictionary? Mostly no, anyone would prefer to browse that word in Google rather to sit and search for it in dictionaries. Because we believe that it's simpler and easier in that case. But is it really?

Ofcourse it cannot be that time consuming when we use technology or internet. But in this process aren't we neglecting all those things that gives us experience. Tecnology may bring comfort but not contentment. By enjoying the comforts of accessing certain things we actually lose the opportunity to experience and learn from the same.Honestly the words that I learnt by looking for it in dictionary stays in my memory better than the words I browsed in internet.

Technology can be a guide but not a servant.The moment you use technology or AI for the petty things it's not longer comfort rather it corrupts one.Let it consume time, let it be the hard way, let it be challenging because it will be all worth it in the end. Books that challenge one enable them to explore more. So take your time in experiencing things. Just live instead of surviving.

Judge at first glance.

It doesn't take a second for me to judge when it comes to men. I recently was to take an auto ride but was very hesitant to get into one judging the way the auto anna appeared to be. To add up to my uncertainty that particular auto also had these weird red lights inside making it look creepy in the dark night. However that day it was the only auto available and I was to get into my hostel before the curfew time. With doubts clogged in my head and fear gripping my heart I got into it. Turned out he was a sweet guy,I don't know may be the fear was so evident on my face that he made sure I was comfortable by talking out random things casually. And that really made me feel at ease. Was the auto anna the problem here for having no clue and becoming the victim of my fear? No. Was I the problem to have doubted him ? Certainly no. Familiarity from the Unknown

 A day where I witnessed so many good souls.To begin with am not a very optimistic person.I often tend to stick with that one belief that people in general are bad and do not truly deserve our trust.But there was this day that broke all of that. It was few weeks back when I went to meet my sister and unfortunately I knew nothing about her place even which bus to board on.So right at the bus stand there was this young girl who helped me figure out which bus was it and helped me board into it.I couldn't even say thanks to her due to all the rush and chaos but was only able to wave her with gratefulness. Clueless me didn't even know when the place where I have to get down would arrive. Seeing my state there was this old lady that was near me who reassured me saying "Dont be scared ma it's the last stop,you can get down when everybody does" and that really helped me relax.
